Here are some shots from our road trip with Mum, Anthony and Matthew. We went to Creiff near Perthshire to check out Mums old school


It hadn't changed too much. She introduced us to some of her favorite sweets from the good old days. They hadn't changed much either.


We went to Grannys old school - Scone Palace!


It was fancy, with white Peacocks and stuff.

Then we went to Great Granny's cottage in Kenmore where mum and granny spent a few holidays. Here is mum by the monument.


Here is me by the loch with my not so little anymore brother.

Nearby there were 'coos'

and castle ruins.



Harry and Matthew decided to go for an icy October dip in the lake.
Sorry, about this but the photos were all too funny, so I had to put up quite a few!
First they did some "warming up" exercises to prepare.

Stripping down, it was becoming apparent that its was bloody cold.

I watched on with an umbrella and a camera.

They tried to feign indifference - "this is sooo great!"

There was much dithering...

and bracing themselves...

yes we are all watching, you can't back out now!
